October Meeting of the Litchfield GAR Civil War Roundtable
Thursday, October 8th at 1:30pm
Lincoln: Life and Legacy will include a "firsts" for Abraham Lincoln, how his political views were formed, his immediate and extended family and how his life is represented in the United States and around the world.
Jim Hinderks served a Board Member, Vice President and President of the Twin Cities Civil War Roundtable and remain members of that group. Joyce is a member of the Daughters of Union Veterans and the Ladies of the Grand Army of the Republic. She volunteers as the Patriotic Instruction of the Daggett Circle, the Litchfield-based chapter of the LGAR. They have presented Civil War topics at the Keokuk Iowa Civil War celebration, the Carver County Historical Society, various schools and Community Ed classes, and various civic or community organizations.

Cost: $3 guest admission. Free for members of the Roundtable

Rules for Meeting In-Person
Masks must be worn when inside the building
Chairs will be spaced six feet apart
Coffee and light appetizers will be served, we ask that guests wait to enjoy them until seated
We ask that, following the conclusion of the presentation, guests exit and mingle outdoors
