Civil War Symposium

The annual Civil War Symposium is coming to Litchfield, MN, home to one of the last remaining Civil War Veteran's G.A.R. Halls in Minnesota!


Join us as we discover "Perspectives on What This Cruel War Was Over"


Admission: $20
Admission and Lunch: $35
(Registration for lunch must be made by April 14)

Registration - 8:30 a.m.
Welcome - 9:00 a.m.
Presentations - 9:10 a.m.-Noon
Lunch - Noon-1:15 p.m.
Presentations - 1:15-3:15 p.m.
Closing Announcements - 3:15 p.m.
G.A.R. Hall - open until 4:30 p.m.


Speakers include Dr. Chandra Manning, Dr. Stefan Lund, and Danelle Erickson.


Enjoy a day learning about the US Civil War with sessions held at the historic Litchfield Opera House with a chance to visit the G.A.R. Hall just a block away.
